Local Beaches

Cornish beaches are the envy of many other counties across the country so you best get out there and see what all of the fuss is about! We’re able to be on the North Coast, famous for its surfing and golden sand within half an hour and the South Coast within 45 minutes.  If you’re looking for surfing lessons then there’s no shortage, and with lifeguards on certain beaches you can ensure you’re as safe as possible when heading into the water.

Family Attractions

Where do we start? The Eden Project, world famous for its giant biomes, The Lost Gardens of Heligan (great for kids of all ages and it’ll really tire them out after a day of running around!), our local steam train, otter park or reservoir packed full of water sports… The list is absolutely endless, so make sure stay long enough to enjoy it all!

Getting Outdoors

When the sun is shining there’s nothing like getting out there and enjoying it.  If walking is your thing then the South West Coast Path is one of a kind – the average person completes it in more than ten years, so you might not be doing it all in one holiday but it’s a good start! Cylcing through Cardinham forest is another must-do when you’re here, as is the Camel Trail or the Granite way.

Eating Locally
